Featured Speakers

This event will feature forums with fellowship and vital resources for you and your church — spiritually, physically, mentally and financially.

Matt Keyser - Pastoral Care & Wellness

Description: Burnout is not just a pastor thing, it’s a people thing, because all kinds of people are living unbalanced lives. But burnout is most definitely a pastor thing, and you most definitely know pastors who have burned out. Don’t be the one to burn out. Let’s talk about how to live balanced lives for the long haul and for the sake of the Kingdom.

Matt is the Founder & CRO of Restor Renewal Ministry. Matt has also served as Lead Pastor of The Village Church in Irvine, CA, for the last twelve years, is Orange Country Area Director for Acts29, USWest and Regional Resource Leader for Strategic Renewal. Matt is also a former Adjunct Professor of Spiritual Formation at Talbot School of Theology. Matt enjoys having fun with his family, being active outdoors and acting as an encourager to anyone he meets.

Bishop Aaron Blake - Connection Points
Description: Connecting you to the child in need. In every community, there are children and families at a point of crisis, who need help. In those same communities, there are churches and people who care and want to take action. But what they need is a connection point.

Bishop Blake was the 30 year pastor of Greater Faith Community Church and is co-founder of Harvest Family Life ministries. He also chaired The Advisory Committee on Promoting Adoption of Minority Children (ACPAMC), a church/state partnership in Texas committed to children in need. His experience and expertise, especially with under-resourced communities, has been formative for CarePortal.
Charlie Cutler - Legal & Finance
Description: Serving over 3,000 ministries, Charlie of ChurchWest Insurance Services offers insights on how to protect your staff, your ministry, and your building from the top contemporary liabilities that churches face.

Over the past 20 years, Charlie has shaped ChurchWest Insurance into a nationally recognized leader in the community that serves faith-based organizations. His approach is simple … understand ministries, analyze the risk, provide all of the resources possible, prevent claims without preventing ministry, and find the best insurance value for the church. He uses his relationships with ministry leaders across California, Arizona and Nevada, to help ministries connect and share best practices on the risks that affect ministry large and small.
